real estate auction, brokerage,
consulting, investment, personal
property and advisory firm.
Over
the years Mr. Lynn associated with
firms that include:
Hilco Real Estate (a Hilco
Global Company), AmeriBid LLC, The
Chartwell Group, LLC, and Sheldon
Good & Company International in
various capacities of real estate
auction marketing and sales. Mr.
Lynn has been involved in the sales
and marketing of commercial Real
Estate for 45+ years. Throughout his
real estate career Mr. Lynn has
focused his expertise on real estate
investment sales and leasing of all
types of commercial, residential,
surplus Governmental sites, large
farm & ranch properties, and special
purpose properties, with aggregate
value totaling over $1 Billion. Mr.
Lynn has been involved in Auctions
and Sealed Bid sales throughout
Texas, nationally and
internationally. Recently Mr. Lynn
established relationships with major
personal property firms that can
buy, sell, or dispose of all types
of commercial and industrial
machinery, equipment and rolling
stock, particularly companies
involved in Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
His client base includes Fortune 500
companies, corporate America,
financial institutions, insurance
companies, developers, REITs, Public
Governmental Agencies, home
builders, business owners, and
private sellers, as a broker and
consultant. Mr. Lynn also provides
consulting to municipalities’,
commercial property owners and
provides expert testimony services
in court proceedings.
Mr. Lynn is widely quoted as an
expert regarding the benefits of
accelerated marketing via real
estate auction methods. A frequent
speaker on the subject, he has
addressed professional and trade
organizations locally, regionally,
and nationally and has been a
presenter on conference panels. Mr.
Lynn has presented an on-line Web
course, “Fundamentals of Real Estate
Auctions” for Lorman Educational and
currently presents the Auction
Course as a CCIM Ward Center
instructor. He has authored or
co-authored numerous articles that
have appeared in real estate columns
for various trade publications.
Mr. Lynn received his Bachelor of
Arts Degree in Political Science
from Drake University. He is a
licensed real estate broker in six
(6) states: Texas, Illinois,
Oklahoma, Florida, Mississippi and
Louisiana and a licensed auctioneer
in Texas and Louisiana.
In
1987 Mr. Lynn received the coveted
CCIM designation from the CCIM
Institute. Mr. Lynn continues to
serve CCIM on a National basis
having served on the CCIM Board of
Directors and has served on the
National CCIM Executive Committee:
Mr. Lynn has served CCIM at the
national level as the Chair and
member of numerous CCIM Task Forces
and Committees; Mr. Lynn was
President of the Houston/Gulf Coast
CCIM Chapter - 1993; Throughout the
years Mr. Lynn maintains membership
and has served locally, regionally
and nationally in many leadership
positions for many Realtor®, ULI,
TMA, RMA, ICSC, ACG, Jewish
community, and other community
organizations.
