Significant Activities/Auctions

  • Beaumont Housing Authority:    Live Auction held in February 2020, before the Covid-19 lockdowns, with over 500 people in attendance.  102 sites (98 homes and 4 lots) for the Beaumont Housing Authority (BHA) in a live auction event, $6 million in gross sales.  100% of properties sold and closed. Properties bought by users and investors, providing private sector workforce housing for the Beaumont region. www.BHAAuction.com

  • NORA: 12 auction events held between 2012 and 2020-time frame, on behalf of the New Orleans Redevelopment Authority (NORA).  Held six live auction events and more recently six on-line only auction events.  Over 1,700 sites have been sold, generating in excess of $60 million of proceeds to the New Orleans community.  These auctioned sites are being placed back into the private sector, with the goal of diminishing blight throughout the community. Properties were impacted by Hurricanes Katrina & Rita in 2005 and there are still thousands remaining to be sold. 

  • Houston Housing Authority: Live auction event held on behalf of the Houston Housing Authority (HHA), 175 property portfolio of 171 homes and 4 lots. Over 500 people attended and achieved gross sales in excess of $8 million.  Properties purchased by individuals, Non-Profits, and investors.

  • San Antonio Housing Authority:  80 property live auction event, mostly vacant lots, and a couple of large development sites. 

  • San Antonio Development Site: 17-acre development site in Stone Oak area of NW San Antonio.  Sold on behalf of receiver for 62-member TIC.

  • Meyerland/Houston Area:  14 properties offered, many impacted by flooding during Hurricane Harvey.  All properties received offers and 50% sold.

  • Farm/Ranch Lands:  Participation in several Texas and multiple state auctions in conjunction with Schrader Auctions, offered under Multi-Par auction formats. 500 acres–45,000 acres in respective auction programs all sites sold and closed, generating in excess of $75 million.

  • Condominium Sales:  Hundreds of units offered in multiple states, combined sales in excess $50 million.

  • Convenience Stores:  110 C-Stores offered in multiple states in a Sealed Bid offering, 50% of units sold during auction program and remaining balance sold to single bulk buyer post auction.

  • Manufactured Home Communities:  100± communities offered over three-year period in 15 states, 59 sold and closed, over $200 million in sales with average cap rate 6.5.
