NORA:
12 auction events held
between 2012 and 2020-time frame, on behalf
of the New Orleans Redevelopment Authority
(NORA).
Held six live auction events and more
recently six on-line only auction events.
Over 1,700 sites have been sold,
generating in excess of $60 million of
proceeds to the New Orleans community.
These auctioned sites are being
placed back into the private sector, with
the goal of diminishing blight throughout
the community.
Properties were impacted by
Hurricanes Katrina & Rita in 2005 and there
are still thousands remaining to be sold.
